Teacher Training Intensive: Mexico
Since 1999, Downward Dog has been offering comprehensive training and development programs for aspiring and existing teachers. With ten years of experience behind us, the evolution of our Teacher Training program reflects an emphasis on quality, detail and technique.
Downward Dog is pleased to announce that our Teacher Training Basic Certification program will once again be transported to the white sand beaches of Puerto Escondido, Mexico in March 2010. Last year’s experience proved to be truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind; what we have in store for 2010 will continue to raise the bar, bringing world-class yoga instruction to a setting beyond compare.
Puerto Escondido, literally translated as “Hidden Port”, is situated on the Oaxaca coast, home to the Mexican Pipeline. Puerto is a prime destination for world-class surfers and those in search of the original charm and unparalleled beauty that the region’s coastline provides. From untouched coves and fresh water lagoons, to irresistible surf breaks and sun-drenched beaches, the sites of Puerto never grow tiresome. Our program will be held at Casa Jacaranda, overlooking Zicatela Beach, an amazing backdrop against which to deepen your practice and immerse yourself in the study of yoga. Join Ron Reid, Diane Bruni and Marla Joy for an in-depth exploration of teaching, with the option of attending one or both modules, in your journey toward 200hr certification.
200 HOUR - BASIC CERTIFICATION, INTENSIVE:
Module I (100 hours): March 1 - 15, 2010
