The Shiatsu workshop will introduce the basic principles of the five element theory of Oriental Medicine, upon which Shiatsu (Japanese massage) is based. We will do some stretches (Makahos) for the meridians (energy lines) associated with the five elements, learn self-help techniques, then a partner massage sequence. Loose fitting or stretchy clothes are recommended as Shiatsu is practiced fully clothed. Come with a friend or on your own.
