Radha Vallabh (Shree Krishna)

Color me Blue
I am incomplete without you
Your music rings in my ears
And your name sings in my heart
Vallabh...Vallabh...Vallabh.

Yoga and Money

Yoga and Money are two terms that do not go hand in hand for most people. Many yogis and yoginis do not like to associate their work with money or finances. This is because our brains are conditioned towards thinking money, gain, finances, as having negative vibes. We are conditioned to think that they should not be linked to something as pure as yoga. However this is not entirely true.

Sunday morning Park Yoga

A gathering of loyal students lounged about on the grass chatting amongst themselves while patiently awaiting the arrival of my swank little scooter at the appointed time. I have known these students for a while now and it was through our gatherings for yoga in the park that our friendships have over time become forged. The weather was PERFECT. There are no words that can fully convey the sense of peace and completeness that comes from practicing out of doors on a quiet Sunday morning under blue skies while drawing in a breath of delicious fragrant air.

Alignment Yoga: go beyond

Toronto, ON (June 14, 2010) – This year, for the first time, yoga students in Toronto’s West end had the chance to experience “Alignment Yoga”.

With her expertise in Kinesiology and Iyengar-based Yoga, Rachel Donen is helping her students develop better health. Rachel’s expertise is key to helping her students with “bad posture”, aches and pains, injury rehabilitation, general fitness, and the alignment of the inner and outer body.

Rachel’s students say that the number one reason why they do Alignment Yoga is because they “learn how to do the pose correctly”.
