Toronto Yoga Leaders: Dr. Gagan Bhalla, Part 2
In part 2 of this three-part interview, Dr. Gagan Bhalla explores the scientific basis of Yoga-Pranayam. The foundation of Pranayam is the belief that the breath is core to good health and peace of mind. Gagan also explains why it is important to exercise both the "hardware" and "software" of our person.
Significant effort has gone into validating the scientific backing behind Pranayam. It is interesting to explore how this ancient practice reconciles against modern western science and the common sense of attending to one's breath.
